Richard is to the OA Market as Electrek is to Tesla and the EV market - it's all about painting the OA market in the best light possible. And if that means making $50K Larsen ASM covers seem totally not surprising at all, cheap even, so be it! I mean that in the nicest way possible. The Cimmerians Purse
Any prognostication on the Frankenstein plate? With last years profiles auction taking the big one just past a million bucks, I was thinking this one might fly pretty high too, potentially higher than it would/should otherwise. I think 500k isnt entirely out of bounds. i.e. if i won the lottery tomorrow i'd take it that high.. but i'm completely a wrightson fan boy. J.Sid
Wrightson is not an artist I collect, but I'll guess closer to $100-150k range The Cimmerians Purse
Bronty
Hmm, I love wrightson but I'm bearish on his frankenstein stuff, I have no connection with it. I'll say somewhere in the middle at 200-240 maybe? Its endpapers so its more memorable than a standard plate I presume. otherwise I'd be with J Sid at 100-150 grapeape and The Cimmerians Purse 1
