Crack Comics #11, 1940, VERY scarce, there are 3 on the census. This was an “Evelyn book”.

Quality was known for the best stories and you have quite a few in this book including The Black Condor, Space Legion, Wizard Wells, Red Torpedo, Alias the Spider (by Paul Gustavson)Madame Fatale (a Senior Citizen Heroine...Quality was way ahead of their time;) as well s Tor Magic Master. Plus my favorite “The Clock” and Molly the Model (before “Millie” ) plus Jane Arden complete with paper dolls!

 

Colors are beautiful in this Quality Comic, the paper is nice, there are cover spine splits of 3” at the top and the same on the bottom and some glue on the bottom one. The 1^st wrap has a tear of 3” at the top. It's a really nice looking lower grade copy (about 1.8) with some glue.

I have no idea how to price this, there are none around. I'm going to ask $650 and go from there.sold to Casablanca

Daring Mystery Comics #8, last in the first series, Timely 1942. Cover by Simon and Kirby, this is the last book in the first series.

There are two Hitler stories and an story starring the little known super heroine, the Betty Barloww, AKA the “Silver Scorpion”.

 

The book is from the “Evelyn Collection”, it has some staining, brilliant colors and some color touch on the right edge. A few lines are colored in and there is some color on the outer edge.

Pages are very nice. Two centerfolds are detached.

A “5.5” with color touch, spine splits, reinforced, stapled replaced, sold recently for $818 on eBay.

Bin in this copy is $750.00 Sold by PM at 15% off

Beautiful colors, a small amount of distributor's ink on the bottom of the spine and a tiny bit on the back. There is a very small tear top of the back cover. Grade is Fine- (5.5) or a little better. Bin is $50 sold to Azkaban
