Shadow Images
I think August could be interesting to see how the collector market is. If we see an end to all these people getting an extra windfall from unemployment pay, we may actual see a fall off is buying and possible a selling by Sept. Time will tell. Popular Post Robot Man
I haven't seen much of a dip yet. I buy and sell GA though. I've yet to see many great deals on them in the past few months. Sales have been great. I still am getting a lot of calls and texts from the local flippers asking for books probably because of their usual supply chain being cut. I do see people being a little more selective. Many are hoping for the bottom to drop out. Historically, on GA, when times get tough, folks hold on to their stuff waiting to ride it out. The few collections that are coming out are from people who need the money. These seem to get snapped up and the GA market seems to be able to support the material that is coming out. Time will tell though. We have to get through this virus first. I think we will be OK in the long run. Motor City Rob
I am surprised not only that sales have not slowed down, but in fact continue to rise. Where are people getting all this $$$? Can't just be the stimulus check. Don't get me wrong....I love the sales, but I'm a little concerned the bottom is going to drop out. This can't be sustained....can it? This can't be sustained....can it? My guess is that the income people spent on going out, bars, restaurants, vacations, leisurely outdoor activities is now available to them and they are buying other things as many set aside money for vacations or dining out a month etc.. with lock downs people didn’t spend that cash... so they are burning it in other places. I’ve seen a huge up tick in home Reno projects and materials that the Home Depot and stuff are starting to run low of stuff on the shelves... just my guess and theory to your question Edited July 30, 2020 by Krismusic Callaway29, Hollywood1892, F For Fake and 1 other

Could be because CA buyers have been on a tear lately but it's always nice to get some cash when I check my messages in the morning.
