Daaaaang . That book is niiiice! It's greatest defect is the tanned edges. Even with that, I'd say a 9.2. An okay shot at 9.4 as well (is better than a lot of 9.4's I've seen).

Tanning and page color will hurt you, but if it is still a structurally sound and supple book . . . 9.0 cream to off-white

Damn MC you have some fine books, I'd say 8.5-9.0. Are you planning to slabb some of these because you have a small fortunte on your hands.

Very nice structural copy that will probably grade around 8.5 - 9.0 dependng on how they view the tanning..........................

No plans to slab right now...wouldn't do it unless i was going to sell them, and that's not imminent.

And..as far as protection goes - as Diva pointed out in another thread - they will be as well protected using normal procedures and precautions.

Just remember it’s going to take 6 months of your life to slab. I would start sending in your cherries now and find out the real grades instead of counting your chickens. I’m thinking a 9
