I saw this online just now and was wanting to see what people think about the grade on this.

It looks like a nice copy.  Maybe 7.5?

Terrible pics. What's going on with that bottom right corner, some weird shape crease. 7.0 if I had to grade it. Would ask for better pics.

8.0ish IMO.

I think worse case scenario, 6.5-7.0. Potential for 8.0 is there but I would assume the former and hope for the latter

 

EDIT: I visited the auction listing. There some definite yellow staining/discolouring on the back cover. 6.0-6.5. CGC hammers that kinda thing.

Well I didn’t win this one. It went for 1225. That seems pretty pricy for it. I am guessing someone has high hopes and big dreams they can get it even better looking. I would prefer to go with the safe bet instead and get one graded

The original pics in the listing make it look attractive... I asked for more pics because I saw staining on the bottom corner back cover... I was given some photos in the messages and it's not nice... imagine something sexy and then put rashes on it....

Yeah CGC hits browning, tanning and discolouring to paper harder, especially on Bronze age books and up. They seem a little more lenient with Golden Age and some Silver Age which is where this falls....I'd be interested to see how they grade it. I do think $1225 is high considering a 6.0 sells for less. If whoever bought it gets 7.5 or better then they made out okay.
