PGM Adventure Comics 283 - Grade is in
1 1

So I'm pretty new to this and trying to enhance my expertise (I use expertise extremely loosely). Interested in feedback on this book as well as if the photos are sufficient.

One glaring deficiency, the cover is completely detached. Curious if that just drops the grade a bunch or if it gets a qualified label?

2.0 Cgc might give you a 2.5 I never pay much attention to a low grade detached. They give qualified to books that look a lot better than they grade. You could ask if they will give you a qualified grade but would be better off on this book with regular label as far as selling. Might be better off raw. Someone will put a cover on it or buy as reader copy.

2.5. The highest Universal grade you can get with a detached cover is 3.0 I believe, and then you add the wear, the LRFC creases, the small tear on the bottom, and the slight liquid damage in the URFC area. But I think it looks too nice to go lower.

4.0 highest possible grade.

This is a 3.0 comic IMO.

Thanks everyone! I appreciate the replies, lots of good info, much I wasn't aware of. I bought this book a few years ago and it was delivered loose in a priority mail envelope that was rolled into my mailbox which I think contributed to the detached cover 🤦‍♂️
