This comic shows a few spots of very light wear on the spine and no tears at the staples. I believe this comic to be in Very Fine plus condition, or better. The spine shows very light wear. I have three copies of this issue...I have no idea why. I believe this comic to be in Very Fine minus condition, or better. The spine shows very light wear. There is light blunting on the spine corners, as well as a handful of spine stress creases/ticks that lightly break the ink. The front cover shows some very light ink rubs in spots all around the edges, along with a couple finger bends/indentations that very lightly break ink. The back cover has a few mild bends/indentations that don't break ink. A couple of these creases have formed some mild ‘wrinkling’ that will press out. Originally, I thought that I had lost this issue when I sold the majority of the series to another board member. I had no idea where it went, so I figured I'd given it away and didn't log it in my database. I should've known that I wouldn't forget something like that because I found the comic. It was half way shoved underneath other comics in a long box, bending the hell out of it. The scans speak for themselves...it wasn't worth estimating a grade for. So..... Issue #1 features an appearance by Batman (Jean-Paul Valley) and issue #2 features the 2nd appearance of Hitman (Tommy Monaghan). The covers on both comics were printed with a fifth fluorescent color. I believe these comics to be in Very Fine/Near Mint condition, or better. There is light blunting of the spine corners, as well as a couple spine stress creases/ticks that barely break the ink. Some of these creases have caused some mild waviness that can be pressed out. I prefer to sell these books as a set.
