Direct edition copy of Captain Atom #7 (DC).  This issue features appearances by Plastique and The Cambodian.

I'm not going to bother listing all the defects with this one because of the sun/dust shadows on the bottom of the back cover.  So....

Direct edition copy of Captain Atom #11 (DC).  This issue is Millennium, Week 4, featuring an appearance by Firestorm.  The cover art for this comic forms a single image with TEC #582, Suicide Squad #9, and The Spectre #10.

I believe this comic to be in Very Fine minus condition, or better.  There is light blunting of the spine corners, as well as a few spine stress creases/ticks that very lightly break the ink.  Both covers show a very light ink rub near the top staple, while the back cover shows a few mild indentations/finger bends that will press out.  One indentation near the top edge barely breaks ink.  There is a very mild spine/stacking roll that will press out.

Newsstand edition copy of Captain Atom #24 (DC).  This issue features numerous DC super-hero cameos.

I believe this comic to be in Fine/Very Fine condition, or better.  There is light blunting of the spine corners (especially the top one), as well as a handful of small spine stress creases/ticks that very lightly break the ink.  The front cover, right above Batman’s head, shows very light residue left over from a sticker (I believe) that isn’t sticky to the touch.  The back cover shows some light ink rubs in areas around the page, along with some paper loss at the top spine corner.

Captain Atom #33 (DC).  The cover reprises the classic Carmine Infantino-Murphy Anderson Batman and Robin pin-up from Detective Comics #352, with Captain Atom replacing Robin.  Captain Atom also wears his Charlton Comics costume.

I believe this comic to be in Fine/Very Fine condition, or better.  There is light blunting of the spine corners, as well as a handful of small spine stress creases/ticks that very lightly break the ink.  The front cover shows a mild ink rub near the top staple, while the back cover shows a few mild finger bends/indentations that will press out.  The left edge of the back cover shows an edge bend that very lightly breaks ink (center).

Captain Atom #41 (DC).  This issue features appearances by Chester King and Silver Shield.

Not a bad looking comic, except for the dust/sun shadow on the bottom edge of the back, and a tear along the right edge of the first page (still attached).  I'm not bothering with a grade estimate, so.........

Another 'not too bad' comic, except for the dust/sun shadow on the bottom edge of the back cover.  Guess what???

While I'm thinking about it, since I'm dropping some 'free with any purchase' comics, let's keep these freebies to just a couple per buyer.  You can always PM me with requests, depending on how much you're spending and how many comics you're buying.  If someone takes one comic at cost, then expects 10 freebies...well, that dog won't hunt. (tsk)

PM me with questions. (thumbsu

Captain Atom #47 (DC).

Another freebie!!!  This issue has some things going on with it, and the scans tell it all.  The biggest issue is the discoloration around the outside of the front cover.  I don't have another copy to compare it too, but it doesn't look right to me.

Captain Glory #1.  This issue is part of Jack Kirby’s ‘Secret City’ saga and comes with the original polybag and Kirbychrome trading card…#1 of 4.  The original KirbyKoupon is still bound into the comic.

I believe this comic to be in Very Fine plus, or better.  The spine shows very light wear.  There is light blunting of the spine corners, as well as a number of spine stress creases/ticks…with a few that very lightly break the ink.  The back cover shows some light ink rubs/soiling near the spine, as well as a slight vertical indentation down the center from the poly bag.  The entire comic will benefit from a press.  The card is in excellent condition.

This listing is a bit out of sequence.  If I find other raws that won't list alphabetically, like I'm trying to do, I'll just drop it in. (thumbsu

Here's another comic out of sequence.....

Walt Disney’s Uncle Scrooge Adventures #47 (1993 series)(Gladstone).  This issue features an appearance by The Beagle Boys.

I'm not bothering with stating defects because the front cover is detached from the top staple.  This isn't a valuable comic by any means, so......

Captain Marvel #0, Wizard Magazine Preview giveaway.  This comic is a preview and history of Rick Jones, with panels of art from various Marvel Comics.

I believe these comics to be in Fine plus condition, or better.  This comic shows very light wear on the spine and no tears at the staples. There is very light blunting of the spine corners, as well as a large number of spine stress creases/ticks…with a few that very lightly break the ink.  The back cover has that mild vertical indentation down the page indicative of being inside a polybag.  Both covers are loaded with wrinkling, finger bends, and indentations.  A press will help here, but I’m hammering the grade estimate in lieu of a press.
