BenF
So i purchased a Playboy 1 for $800 that was supposedly complete just in rough condition. After CGC graded it i find out its missing a page but also find out its a "Page 3" variant...Just curious what others believe the value could be. The seller said they'd refund with a return but im just stuck in deciding what to do. On one hand im disappointed with an incomplete 0.5 but on the other hand its still a great looking piece and maybe the 800 value i paid is spot on!!?? Whats your opinion? zosocane and FoggyNelson

OtherEric
I don't know enough about the value of the book to really say; I suspect the missing page would outweigh any value bump you get from having the page 3 variant. BenF
ThothAmon
I think you will make out just fine by keeping it. Sub 💰1000 Playboy 1’s seem pretty rare. FoggyNelson, oakman29 and BenF
FoggyNelson
I would think it would be worth $800 in the slab ‼️ Nice Playboy number one‼️‼️😷 oakman29 and BenF

gadzukes
I think you made a great purchase. It will only go up in value. One possible decision to make..... since it presents WAY better than .5 you could resubmit to get a Green label at a higher grade. Judging by the front cover, it looks like a press & dry clean might give you a 5.0 Green Label. Something to think about. BenF
FoggyNelson
I would be happy with a 0.5 CGC 1950's war comics and OtherEric 1
Cman429
Of all the pages to rip out, who would’ve expected it to be “party jokes?”
