frisbee
With NO grader notes, has anybody popped the slab open and sent the book back for a second opinion? Don't get me wrong 9.6 is OK, but for $19 has anybody given a book a second chance? A different person, a different grade. Just checking... Thank you. Lightning55
Considering doing that now. I have a Star Wars #68 that came back 8.5 due to creases and wrinkles. Had it pressed, but maybe it reverted. It's worth $80, but with improvements could double or more. I think I'll take those odds vs. costs.
Lightning55
Also, you see frequently where people submit for screening, and books are rejected, costing $5 each time. The same book is resubmitted, passes, and gets a 9.8 later. Taking another crack at it is a gamble, so you have to be prepared to "pays your money and take your chances".
