Canada's public health advisers have stated they see the mask mandates being in place into the fall, maybe even into the winter. They don't follow the CDC guidelines on anything really, without seeing the evidence here, but if they were correct with the data about transmission and risk among the fully vaccinated, then we'll have that evidence as more people get their second shots over the summer.

May has been a mixed bag, as infection rates are still high in some regions but the speed in which we are vaccinating in Ontario is a great sign that there's light at the end of the tunnel. As of today, 18+ can be vaccinated in Ontario, and into June the 12 and up group will start to get vaccinated. By the end of June, as estimated, everyone in Ontario and probably Canada will have the chance to receive their first shot and we can get on with the second shots over the summer. In some cases, the second shot date has already been advanced, so if we continue to get supply in, we should see some more of that.

Thank you for keeping us up to date Kevin. Do you have a rough time frame when guest might be confirmed? Are we looking at something like August as the world waits to see what happens with the border?

CGC is not doing events this fall. They are dealing with a massive backlog of submissions is my understanding. 

If you are looking to do Signature Series, I'm sure there will be facilitators at the event who can assist.

Hi - Noob CGC question for Toronto Fan Expo 2021 for anyone who has experience with it?:

 

I know CGC is going to be here Oct 21-24, because they mentioned they are there to witness the Jim Lee 2021 signing event, but if you want to have an artist in "artist's alley" sign a comic, can you get a CGC person at the show to follow you through the alley and certify they saw it signed and take possession of it?  

 

Same goes for a cover sketch?

 

Also - Will CGC take all submissions at the show, to save Canadians at least "half" the shipping costs of sending to Florida?  (Shipping costs from Canada are killer-expensive).

So as you may have heard Ontario has new policies in place starting September 22, so obviously we will need to figure out logistics with the facility and partners and announce an updated Health and Safety policy.

We did announce the other day that JIM LEE is leading off our comics announcements with more to come.
