These are my roommate Bob's comics and he wants to price them and sell them at his comic book store.  I don't know which ones to buy.  Help me out. Vote for your favorites.  What does a #1 go for these days?

I'm going to have to take a break and read this one.  The green glove reminds me on the kid with super strength in the last season of Twin Peaks.  I wonder if David Lynch read this comic as a kid?  I'm buying this one.

The red cover to #19 in much better in person.  The scan doesn't really do it justice.  It's still glossy but I wish the spine was in better shape.

This would be the first one I would buy, given that it is priced reasonably. Why? It's a #1 issue, which, back in the day, was a big deal. Unlike now, where #1 issues come out every six months.

Crazy Bob knows this to be true as well, but he owns a comic book store and is glad that they keep pumping out the #1's so he can pay his horrible and crusty landlord.

If your friend is willing to sell to a comic book store, let him know you would match their price.. go with him to the lcs.  Your friend can be happy, and you will definitely be happy.

Crazy Bob owns the comic book store.  Luckily things aren't that bad to where he has to fire sale price anything.  The Pokeman cards pay more of the bills I think than vintage comics.
