rjpb
The stains on the front probably limit it to a 5.

Bayowolf
If this was Silver Age ,I'd agree but from what I have seen Golden Age ones get a bit of a pass..6.

comicginger1789
5.5 from me. I think 6.0 would be generous and 5.0 a tad harsh. The stains suck. Without those, I think you are easily looking at 6.5 or so.
TheLogoDetective
Would you sell this comic? If so, how much for the Nellie the Nurse 17? Thank you for your service! Matt
LowGradeBronze
So hard to grade older books. Looks a solid 5.0 to me but being GA would probably get a 5.5 to 6.0 Chief1332
Chief1332
It seems that my copy is not the only one that had a "staining" problem near the N in Nellie. Appears to be a common enough problem for this issue. The mark above the L could be staining, green in color, could be a marker that has rubbed a bit onto the book. That mark on the back.? Not sure but it brings it down. Nellie the Nurse #17 Davis Crippen ("D" Copy) pedigree (Timely, | Lot #17307 | Heritage Auctions (ha.com)
