I can understand. As a kid, I didn't consider the possible later value of my pokemon cards. And that goes for almost every other kid in the late 90s, or else we wouldn't be seeing the prices they are getting for high grade ones right now.

I used to carefully erase the pupils on the eyes on my mom’s magazines. She was none too happy.

At one time I found a bunch of Fox and Fiction House jungle GGA books. The original kid owner had penciled in all the “private parts” throughout.
