This book is always overshadowed by ff48 despite it being just as important it’s got the first full Galactus and his first cover appearance along with silver surfers and has much better cover altogether so I thought it would be nice for us to post are copies

Here is my FF49. It is my favorite cover of the trilogy and I think has the potential for a lot of growth when the Surfer and Galactus eventually grace the screen again in a Marvel Universe film.

Another point is CGC made this cover one of their custom labels this year. I plan on sending my FF49 back to CGC to get the custom label added.

Yeah I saw the label for that when looking at what they had and that one and 72s label I liked  I’d probably get 72s label on 55

Also what’s with the wrap on this issue you never see the full logo box with all four on the front I’ve found

I have to pick up another FF72 and get the matching custom label for it.

Thank you ! Fantastic Four was my favorite title growing up so I had to get them all. Finally accomplished that goal 3 years ago. There are so many covers I like in the run and 72 is towards the top of that list.

Count me in. The "squiggle" above the head of Galactus is a piece of string that I didn't notice until just now. And even though it appears that there are two tears along the right-hand side of the cover, it must have been a reflection of the light.
