I don't think his death had anything to do with it. It probably would have realized a similar price if it hit the block when he was alive.

Other than a slight (and temporary) bump in demand due to increased interest at the time of their death, it will make little long term difference. It's not like they are cranking out pages now (when they are alive.) So, their deaths will have zero impact on supply (and anticipated future supply).
