Question About Mechanic Errors 0

Hey Guys. I just had a question about mechanical errors, specifically errors in the CGC labels. If a card gets submitted for a correction to the label (in my case the variant was missing) as a mechanical error, does the card get a new certification number? I just got an email saying my card is being shipped back to me but on the order it gives a new certification number that gives the name as "INELIGIBLE TYPE/RESEARCH MODE". I did check the old certification number and it does appear the information has been corrected in the registry; however, the images shown as still the old images with the old label.

Any insight would be appreciated!

Hello,

I updated the image and dropped it in the upload folder. It might take a day or two to reflect. It will retain the original cert number.
