Iron Man #55 quality control problems? 1 1

Is this a notoriously bad book for QC or was I duped? I just got my copy in the mail and there a lot of what I would imagine are defects from the printing process, but I don't know well enough to make that call. I see a lot of copies that are off center like this one and shifted up where the Marvel banner is cut to the edge, the CCA logo is cutoff at the top, and there's extra space under the bottom banner.

The whole bottom edge along with part of the top have overspray, the whole book is shifted too high, the width is an 1/8 of an inch wider than any of my other BA books of the same period and there's no spine roll that would cause it to look that way, and the length is an 1/8 of an inch shorter, there are also areas of the interior that are missing some colors.

Anybody have any guesses? If I need some more pictures I'll gladly oblige.

This post from 2017 says it's notorious on Iron Man #55, but I'd definitely like to hear some of the experienced opinions of the boards before my curiosity is quelled.

A lot of this stuff is normal for books of that age. Nothing seems suspicious to me.

Oddly enough, this copy has better centering than 99% of them out there.

Iron Man 55 is very notorious for bad centering so not out of the norm.

My copy had two sets of Siamese pages, so it was replete with all kinds of problems.

Thanks for all the reassurance guys that's enough anecdotal evidence to confirm my belief that this book just had really poor quality control

Not counterfeit I'd like to think I could spot that. I was just worried it had been trimmed by someone rather than it being a production flaw.

The overspray is post-printing process and might hurt a little ,pricewise. Early 70s Marvels suffer from bad production. Yours is pretty typical.

This isn't remotely the worst miswrap I've seen from Marvels of this era.

Yeah this is no where near the worst out there for wrapping or cut for IM55.  It is from an era of just notoriously bad manufacturing.

Here is my before pressing and after grading.
