Legacy numbering.

Once you reboot a series, going back to old numbering is a lame gimmick. Detective Comics never hit issue 1000. It ended at 881 and then started over.

Agreed, the constant renumbering, volumes etc. is out of control.

Very true!... I hate the starting over with another #1 issue with 20+ variants every other year or so. 😡

People talking with their mouths closed.  Look its harder to draw a talking person than a closed mouth but stretch your skills a little, guys.

I knew Liefeld would show up in this thread.

Yup. I’m not really trying. Low hanging fruit.

Another one would be his shouty expressions.

I thought about posting it today

But there was no thread to post it

But especially with the hulk:

I hate the defined muscles that could only come from lifting the characters cranium, so much strain that their veins would pop

As if their cranium is holding like 2 tons

Lack of feet.

That’s Rob Liefeld. Generally, artists aren’t so reluctant.

When a good artist gets demolished by a bad inker.  This was once George Perez art till inker Rico Rival destroyed it:

I don’t think the overall end result there is at all bad.  Reminds me of John Buscema inked by Alfredo Alcala, if quite a bit lighter.

For me, a real repeat offender pencil art destroyer was Rudy Nebres.  Never, ever, liked the combination.

Each to his own.

A general problem often seen in comic art is incompetently-executed forced perspective.

which I also find abhorrent.
