Does a mylar sleeve scratch acetate covers?

As I was re-sleeving some books, I happened across the "Marvels" series with the acetate covers. I've seen some acetate covers that were all cloudy and scratched up in the past and wondered if Mylar would be a bad choice for these books. Anyone have any bad experiences sleeving these type of acetate covers?
