HotKey
This is not the most expensive but I just recently acquired this and apparently many dont know it exists. 1st Brazilian Blade, might wind up being one of the more rare ones out there. Many think a 2010 copy is the first Brazilian Blade but this one is. Legion of Goom, thehumantorch and ADAMANTIUM 2

postersandstuff
Find it funny how picky we are , id like norwegian Donald pocket #1 in VF or better but back in the day nobody bothered to preserve them - esp the first 20 books....creases on covers common , one book even had bad gluing from factory Edited October 9, 2021 by postersandstuff

Even if they weren't asking for original material I still think international releases of US comics are boring. Kitschy maybe. Like an Elvis impersonator. I'd rather see some international comics with originality. I don't see the allure of copied pop culture, though I will admit I heard a punk rock song from a Chinese band that wasn't bad. Popular Post steve566
I mainly collect foreign editions of famous US keys but it doesn’t seem that’s what your talking about.. the Spider-man wedding issue that was printed in Mexico is definitely one of the most sought after and contains an original story that was never meant to cross the border north. this Greek magazine predates Matt Bakers Cinderella Love 25 and was an obvious inspiration for the cover.. I sold this one at auction this year for about $1500 on eBay.. as of now it’s the only known copy but guys in Greece are hunting for another I love the Indonesian adaptation of the Star Wars comics.. completely redrawn interiors and hard as hell to track down these may not be exactly what your looking for but still fun and highly sought after books. Brock
That first issue of the Beano at about $30,000 is up there, but you have to go to Belgium and France for the priciest books internationally. Some early TinTin books will fetch $150,000 or more, while some rare and early Asterix editions go for more than $200,000. Original art from these books can go much higher, with an unused TinTin cover selling for €3.2 million (for example). dupont2005, Bronty, Namtak and 1 other 2
Bronty
That just makes sense since that Franco Belgian scene was strong. Thanks for jumping in. greggy

Joshua33
Cuentos de Abuelito 8 is the real first appearance of Conan the Barbarian in comic books (obviously not in Pulp). These books were printed in the 60s, thus pre-dating the Marvel BWS run. I have heard of copies of these books selling in the hefty 5 figure range. I'd like to find one myself.
