Hi there, my name is Ruth.

I just purchased an old cabin and found a small comic book collection in the attic. I’m new to all this & I want to sell as soon as possible but I also don’t want to be taken advantage of. 

I imagine that, of the 50 or so books I have, a good number would warrant being graded and sold via auction.

Send them all, express to CGC for grading.  Don’t forget to have CCS press all of them first.  You’ll want to do that to maximize your return.

In all seriousness to the original poster, you have a pile of mid-grade common books from the 1990's that are easily found in many dollar bins. Read them, enjoy them and then maybe give them away to some charity or church group so they can sell them at the community yard sale. Or, if you are so inclined, put that lighter to good use. I'm sure that cabin gets cold at night. Not worth grading and you have not hit the mother lode.

Im impressed that someone new to comics was able to pick out the ones that were NM. The pink lighter was a nice touch for authenticity… a bit odd though.
