Still there is Tank Girl and other indies.

Perhaps if Valiant progresses in movies then you also would have RAI or Bloodshot

Deadpool, Gambit, Thomas Elliot (Hush), Carnage, Omega Red, Bane...

I would have to give it to Deadpool.  But I don't think people give enough credit to Thomas Elliot.  He's the most intriguing villain introduce to Batman since the original rogue gallery members.

 

***Gambit is still my favorite since X-Men 266 holds a special place in my collection

Honestly, I wouldn’t say he’s filler at all. He’s become a more mainstream character due to Into the Spider-Verse and him having his own game. He isn’t overshadowed by Peter Parker anymore, so I can confidently say he’s his own Spider-Man.
