jcjames
Dang dang dang dang DANGGIT!! I don't plan on selling it any time soon, and with TAT and QC as they currently are, should I send it in for reholder, and.... because it's cracked would that necessitate a regrade? Poekaymon
That does not look bad enough to require a regrade. And reholders (at least, as of a year ago when I last did some) are generally pretty quick. So I would do that, especially because I do not like the old slabs. jcjames

Lightning55
Very lucky that it doesn't appear to have damaged the comic. The outer frame did its job, prevented a crunch. Slabbing really paid off. Imagine if was dropped on the corner while in a bag and board. Reholder it next time you submit something, to save on cost of shipping to FL. jcjames and djzombi 1

Cat
Crack it, but try not to damage the slab. Sell the slab as an invisible variant and make some bank. Profit. jcjames and theCapraAegagrus
theCapraAegagrus
If the comic isn't touched by the damage, it's not supposed to be eligible for re-grade, but I have seen some claim that CGC chose otherwise. As mentioned, cracking it and enjoying it in bag and board is a great option. jcjames
SpeedforceKJ
My TMNT 1 2nd print I bought in 2019 was in a cracked case (when I bought it) The inner well was moving around inside the case, the front of the slab was almost completely cracked. I submitted it for rehold when I got back from my deployment I was on and it came back no issues and didnt have to be re-graded. jcjames
