Book has very slight water staining all the way through the 3rd cover. Staples are nice and no rust or staining migration. Covers are in order of opening the book. Thanks! MrRoboto Posted February 16, 2022 Share Posted February 16, 2022 Prob 5.0 (still new so could be wrong). One of the things CGC does is grade the best cover, not necessarily the one on the front. In fact, when the book gets slabbed, cgc will let you know the grade of each cover. However, only the best cover grade will be what the comic grades as. Point Five Posted February 16, 2022 Share Posted February 16, 2022 Awesome book! A shame about the staining, but ah well. I'd guess 3.5 (outer cover) to maybe 4.5 (3rd cover), give or take. Robot Man Posted February 17, 2022 Author Share Posted February 17, 2022 Thanks guys. Ironicaly, I actually think the middle cover is the best of the 3. The staining is the worst part. I had it at 3.0/4.0/3.5. Trying to be conservitave. On a good day, maybe a half point higher. I cracked it out of a slab from that company in the Pacific Northwest. They had both inner covers at 5.0. I bought it on the bay. Had a little back and forth with the seller because the case was so loose on both sides I ended up popping it open with my bare hands. Lesson learned.
