David&KrisComics Posted March 27, 2022 Share Posted March 27, 2022 Need some help with determining the grade for this comic book, I have a AQUAMAN 6 in beautiful condition. And furthermore the reason why I am needing some help is because I have seen CGC graded books that were 9.8 and have off white to white pages before. Heck I have even seen 10.0 before and have it say off white to white pages! So I am very confused about the books I have and what they could possibly grade for. This book presents pretty nicely, and the cover inks are bright, but it's not a 9.0+ copy. UR corner is pretty badly rounded. LR corner looks ... funny, especially in that first picture. I can't decide if there's some corner blunting, or a bend that won't sit flat, or if it's just lighting. Spine stress, including a good bunch of color-breaking ticks (see first image below). Some sort of dirt / staining at BC LR (see second image) And what looks like it might be some chipping along the BC bottom edge (also see second image).
