Hey all, what type of scuffing is this it really doesn’t seem like it’s on the surface .. beside the “four”

If its on the book it looks like the type scuffing that occurs when something damp lays on the book and pulls up ink when it dries and is removed.

I believe Kav is correct, it is caused through high humidity and the inks have rubbed off.

blazing, that’s what I think it is. def not on the book but it’s a weird scuff look. 
anyone seen this on a book and re holder ??

Bob is correct.  A new case will get rid of it.
