Jim Starlin signing event 3 3

Is there any update on the Jim Starlin signing event?  I don't even see it on the signature event schedules page now.

Good morning,

Thank you for your message.  The Jim Starlin signing has not taken place yet.  We don't have a set date for that yet but it should be coming up soon.  The cut off date was 4-15-22 and we do remove the information from our events page after the cut off for any signing.  The actual signing date can be anywhere from a few weeks to even months from the cut off date.  We have to leave enough time from the cut off date to get all submissions opened and entered for that signing.  The actual date will also depend on the artist's schedule as well.  

We do appreciate your patience on these as we know it can be frustrating to wait for a signing.  If you have any questions, please let us know.  Thank you!

So that is very strange.  Why would CGC post that there is a signing event, but not have it scheduled?  So does that mean our comics will remain in limbo until CGC finally schedules the event?  This process is misleading when you post that there will be a private signing.  As consumers, we are under the assumption you actually worked out a time, place, and date for the signing.

I agree. I don't mind the wait, but that answer was disappointing.
