Abel G
I recently purchased two CGC Golden era Mickey Mouse Magazine Comics on eBay and I noticed the slabs have opening on the sides, enough for me to stick a business card through. I was wondering if this is normal for a golden era comic?
Lazyboy
Yes, that's normal for ~15 years worth of older comic slabs and all magazine slabs. The Lions Den and Randall Dowling
shadroch
On the older slabs, you can stick a piece of cardboard in and do away with the so-called Newton Rings. They cleverly eliminated it in the newer slabs so you have to reslab the books with Newton Rings.
theCapraAegagrus
It's normal for that particular generation of slabs.

I have a number of them from last year that I can slide things into if I chose.
