Hello,

Unfortunately this book would need to be reviewed by our graders in hand to come to a final decision on its grade and label color. If a book has staples replaced it will generally receive a conserved grade. However, if there is tape present on the book in addition to the staples being replaced, then it will only receive a qualified grade.

Why does the presence of tape shift it to a green label?

From another Ask CGC thread a user asked about two different books with replaced staples...one was Conserved and the other was Qualified:

Tape cannot be present on conserved books so, in this case, that pushes the staple replacement from conserved to qualified.
