Comic Book Signing - Pen choices? 1 1

When it comes to having artist sign comics, what is the best pen to use? I know a standard sharpie works well on a comic with white/light background, but is there a preference everyone has when it comes to getting comics signed to make the signature pop? I've been eyeing metallic sharpies (or even metallic paint sharpies), but I didnt think the paint pens would ultimately work well with comics. I'm sure it depends on the type of cover too.

Sharpies are fine, no paint. 👍

Paint markers take a long time to dry and some may not fully dry at all. Nothing but trouble.

What do you guys think about Sharpies on the chromium covers? I’m headed to Galaxy Con Richmond this weekend and I’d like Chris Bachalo to sign my copy of Generation X #1. My concern is the sharpie won’t “stick” to the chromium.
