By clicking on it again and again until it opens in new tab? I was then able to read clearly on second thought that isn't very clear, though I was able to read it Edited August 6, 2022 by ADAMANTIUM

Popular Post zzutak
On 8/6/2022 at 6:14 AM, CGC Mike said: According to Mike's grade distribution table, only 109 players completed Round 3 (down from 137 at sign-up, 124 in Round 1, and 118 in Round 2). Here are the key measures of central tendency for Round 3 (Mean = the average grade; Median = the middle grade in a numerically rank-ordered list; Mode = the most common grade): Book CGC Grade Distribution Statistics # Grade Mean Median Mode 11 8.5 7.5 7.5 8.0 12 6.5 5.7 5.5 5.5 13 4.5 4.3 4.0 4.0 14 2.5 3.2 3.0 3.5 15 9.8 9.4 9.4 9.6 The Board as a whole was significantly more critical than CGC on most of the Round 3 books. To be sure, the data indicates that the Round 3 set was, far-and-away, the most challenging slate seen to date. There were far fewer bulls-eyes in Round 3 (62 total, only 11% of the grades submitted ) than in either Round 1 (154 total, 25% of the grades submitted) or Round 2 (123 total, 21% of the grades submitted). Here are a few other notable observations based on the data reported above: Book #11 (America's Greatest Comics #5): A challenging book for most players, with only 9% of the contestants at the same grade as CGC and only 48% within one grade increment of CGC. Collectively, the Board was two grade increments more critical than CGC (7.5 vs 8.5). The lesson here (and that's really what these contests are about) is that CGC is a bit more forgiving of minor spine blemishes (such as a small bindery tear) on a 100-pg book than on a 36-pg book. Call it the 100-pg BumpTM. Book #12 (Fight Against Crime #14): Another challenging book for most players, with only 10% of the contestants at the same grade as CGC and only 33% within one grade increment of CGC. Collectively, the Board was about 1.5 grade increments more critical than CGC (5.7 vs 6.5). Book #13 (Showcase #4): Yet another challenging book for most players, with only 12% of the contestants at the same grade as CGC and only 49% within one grade increment of CGC. On a positive note, collectively, the Board was just slightly more critical than CGC (4.3 vs 4.5), so we'll call this a big win for the visiting team! What would a CGC Grading Contest be without at least one example of the Mega-Key BumpTM? . Book #14 (Fantastic Four #25): The "easiest" book for the Board as a whole, with 20% of the contestants at the same grade as CGC and 52% within one grade increment of CGC. This time around, the Board was about 1.5 grade increments more lenient than CGC (3.2 vs 2.5). Heck, we're all over the place in this round. Book #15 (Supernatural Thrillers #5): I initially had this at 9.8 but then remembered the two-point burn I took on Book #10 (Spawn #1, CGC 9.4). I suspect many/most other players did the same. Kudos to the six contestants who had the guts to go on record with a 9.8. Kudos to Mike, as always. And congratulations to everyone near the front of the pack, coming out of the far turn and going into the home stretch!
