Just bought a decent looking FF annual #1. Grade? 2 2

Most my silver age FF 1-50 are pretty beat up, this one looks nice. Anyone give me a ballpark grade? 4? 5?

if the interior has issues maybe lower

3.5-4.0. Too many color breaking creases plus the chewed up little piece on the outside edge and the possible staining on the back at the top for me to see this cracking 4.5, which would be my absolute optimistic ceiling.

Thank you sir. So many of my really early kirby FF are like 1.8’s it’s nice to have a better looking book. I paid $226 in a bid, seems like a good price from what I can tell it’s going for higher in that grade.

While it does have an accumulation of small to moderate flaws, it still presents very well and is structurally solid. I would give it a 4.0. I think anything below that is too low.

But based on what I’ve seen in the latest grading contest, it’s entirely possible this could be a CGC 6.5.
