4. Jungle Comics #36 (copy B)

I was very pleased with this grade from CGC. I understand the guesses in the 4.5-5.5 range, as CGC has been super tough on structural flaws in the past. I will say though that this book is fresh and supple in hand, the spine is crisp and the staple areas suggest it was never read... pretty amazing for a 64-page 1942 book. So somewhere right in the middle between VF and VG 'feels' about right to me.

5. Mystic #18 

I thought this was a 4.0/4.5 tweener, so glad it hung on for the 4.5 despite the splits & back cover tear (or "slice". Is a slice better than a tear? ). The book is certainly nice and glossy.
