How long to open packages 1 1

When CGC marks that a package has been delivered to the warehouse/facility/whatever. How long is it normally before they actually open it and start working on it.

And when does the turnaround time actually start?

Hello! The turnaround times are estimates and are flexible; however, they generally start once the packages are delivered to the warehouse. The time it takes to open a package can vary greatly depending on the number of submissions that are being received during that time period and whether or not it is an expedited package. This being said, it normally only takes a few days to a week for the package to be opened and entered into the system.

@CrystalM CS is CGC currently caught up to the current week for opening packages? I sent a package that arrived last week, and I forgot to label the package accordingly.

Hello @Girg, 

I see that we entered four submissions into the system for you on March 24. The number of days an order will spend going through our intake process can vary from week to week. Once delivered, orders will generally appear in online submission tracking in about 7 to 10 business days. Expedited tier intake is processed accordingly and these orders will appear on the tracking page more quickly, but may still take 1 to 3 business days. 

If your have an order that was delivered over three weeks ago or the estimated turnaround time has been exceeded and you do not see your order available for tracking, please let us know and we can look into the issue for you.
