IMHO, this was Frank Miller's peak.  I can't understand why this hasn't been made into a Netflix series already.  

These are all nice copies... but as with any black cover, especially those approaching 40 years old, there are going to be some imperfections like slight color loss, blunted corners, etc...most of which my scanner can't seem to see.   I called these lower VF/VF+ copies for that reason.  Those black covers give high grade collectors major headaches.

I'd say these issues average btw VF an NM-. Simple edge & storage wear with a blunted corner or two bringing a couple (4 & 8) down to VF- or so. 

Snag the entire first year which includes the early direct sales issue #10...which was a big deal at the time. 

These books are 41 years old.
