Not many US OA pieces BUT if you want to discuss old US OA, you will be in VERY capable hands there.

And you could see a gem or two on the walls (almost garanteed !)

Wow, great, merci mille fois! Editions Deesse is just around the corner from my hotel, Barbier is a short walk from du 9eme, and Maghen will be a nice stop after visiting Centre Pompidou... hoping to bring home something nice!

9ème Art's owner is Bernard Mahé. He has an outstanding personal collection (not much to see in his CAF gallery unfortunately, but most of the art visible in this incredible exhibition in Madrid also comes from his collection, to give you an idea), but not sure you'll see him and he's not very talkative.

Maghen gallery is exclusively European art + illustration art. Great gallery, nice exhibitions and nice people.

Jean-Baptiste Barbier is a lovely guy. He represents European artists (including Bilal, Druillet, Blain, etc.) but also has a great network to help you find atworks you want. Don't know if he still has this nice Krazy Kat page in his backroom.

Depending on when you're in Paris, there may be also one or two exhibitions for comic art to be auctioned soon, as we'll have many auctions in Europe in the coming months.

This is the piece to the left 

When I visited, the owner was on a trip, so I didn’t get a chance to discuss OA.

several good comic shops in that area
