I have some rarer Pokemon games, some NES games, and Atari games, but I want to see what the results are from this submission before seeing if I want to send anything else in yet.

Ooooh that's pretty cool.
I'm still in the "Grading/Encapsulation/Imaging" status also. 

I only submitted one game, a sealed copy of Joust for the Atari 2600.   Not expecting a super high grade on it, but there can't be too many sealed copies of that game left floating around and it's going to look great on display in my collection.

Still in 'Grading/Encapsulation/Imaging', but my CC was charged today.

I also see that even though the shipment was delivered 10/18 at CGC, the status says Received 10/24, so I expect the 30 day turnaround is planned from that date.

So if you ship, they might arrive at the dock, but not be in their system for a week.

Although today is business day 39 from October 24th, so it may take a couple of weeks to go from Received to where they start the turnaround cycle.  

Or maybe they just started and are refining things and we should give them time to establish things and get in a groove.  :)

Status says Shipped and I can see my grades!! Attached are a couple of screen shots.  😀

Awesome!!!  Great grades too!

I actually made a mistake.  I was charged for the card submission CGC received December 9th; those are all graded now after 10 calendar days (not business days).  Games are still in grading.

@Holku @Starius  Yeah, the only thing I won't really find out is how the seals graded. They didn't provide that info. I was extremely extremely shocked that ATV Offroad Fury 2 got a 9.8. Could of swore that Herc's Adventures would of graded higher. I still think the seal on Herc's Adventures will come back higher than Offroad Fury, but we'll see. Please keep me updated on both of your submissions. I would like to see pictures as soon as you get them.  I'll post pictures on here when mine arrive!

Ah, but I can be patient.  So it's all good.
Never realized that I could find out the grades before receiving them till I read this thread though.  Yeah, that will be a real test of willpower.

Ok, I couldn't resist, because even with shipping Tuesday, they won't be here until next Tuesday, after Christmas.  Thanks Fed Ex...  75 calendar days from the day I shipped to the day they should get to me.  Not bad, but not quite close to 30 business days.

All 6 of the Seal grades were at least an A (3 A's, 3 A+)

Somehow Advance Wars 2 ended up with an 8.0, so I'm really interested to inspect it since it looked great when I sent it.  Advance Wars received a 9.2 which is good, but not what I expected.  Dual Strike had a 9.6, which makes sense because it basically looked perfect.  Days of ruin had a 9.4.  Pokemon Y got a 9.4, and Brilliant Diamond a 9.6.

I'm not really sure what it takes to get a 9.8, since the ones that got 9.4 and higher looked flawless, off the shelf condition to me, but I'm also not looking at everything under a microscope, which I hope is what CGC is doing and makes it take that long to grade the games.  In other words, huge congratulations if you manage to get a 9.8.  don't expect you can just send in a brand new off the shelf game from GameStop or target and it's in 9.8 condition.

What amazes me is how a seal can get an A+ but grade at a 9.2 9.4 9.6. Common sense would make you think that if the seal is an A+ almost perfect,  that the box or case would be excellent also 🤷

Hey guys!  I just noticed my status changed on Friday and that my game has been shipped!  I should have it very soon. (Maybe even tomorrow.)

It's only got a 7.0 grading, but hey, that's fair.  It's 40 years old, after all! 

I'll share pictures of it here when I get it, if you guys are interested. 

This is my first time getting anything graded.  I certainly have more video game treasures in my collection, so probably not the last.

Would I have liked a higher grade?  Oh sure.  But it's fair, and really, how many sealed copies of this can be left out there anyways? 

I'm super excited to have this displayed in my collection now.   😁
