Danno561
Before I send this off for Todd’s signature, I wanted to seek some final input. Specifically, the book is graded 9.6 but appears to be rolled a tad in the upper right corner. Is this acceptable for such a high grade? Mindful of the handling risk, I want to also assess the likelihood that the book could be downgraded for other reasons. Mods, please move if there is a more applicable forum. thank you
scburdet
was it pressed before? IMO, cracking & regrading is always rolling the dice. I could see everything from a 9.4 to a 9.8 depending on who looked at it post signing. It's nearly impossible to grade something in a holder. The plastic just hides the small defects too well. Willing to roll the dice if the book does not appear to be overgraded. Unsure on pressed. Some additional closeups. Anything stand out? scburdet
looks like the bottom right of the front cover is blunted a bit. I don't see a lot and the back looks great (compared to many, many copies including mine). I wouldn't say overgraded, but CGC explicitly warns that the grade isn't guaranteed to be the same b/c different people might notice different things. If you want a TM sig on an ASM300, I'd go for it. Danno561
