Larryw7
Yeah, I was gonna say it could happen if Disney swallows up Warner like it has almost every other Hollywood studio. Bo1983
kimik
I don't see DIS scooping up WBD due to the debt load. It would almost double their long term debt and not generate enough of a return to justify it. I can see AAPL or AMZN doing it though. They can pay cash straight away to retire all of the debt without blinking. TupennyConan and Bo1983

And rather than letting things ride from the former leadership, he's tearing the Band-Aid off while cleaning house and cutting costs to meet investor acquisition commitments. But man, is it going to be a painful first few years to get there. Though with the dual DC partnership they may clearly branch off from any other releases and do their roadmap. eastriver400
I believe its inevitable. Eventually, the moviegoing public will grow tired of the superhero genre.... (seen any good westerns or Mafia movies lately?). Thats when the studios will join forces to milk the last few drops of their properties. Also I’m talking about the Italian Mafia genre, not just criminal / hitman / heist movies.

theCapraAegagrus
Probably not. Marvel's heroes are nerfed heavy on film. Every JL character would outclass every Disney character, and they wouldn't like that. Maybe, but factoring inflation that would only be about $1.5 billion by 2019's standards.
