Sadly, someone stole an entire mag box full of 20 different nm-mt Eaglemoss/DC hardcover graphic novels along with some Marvel soft cover trade paperbacks during load-out Sunday April 2, 2023.

Hey Allan;

Sorry to hear about your loss here and best of luck in terms of catching the thief and for you to get all of your books back.  :wishluck:

Any chance that this sideways looking book was yours and for sale at your booth:  hm  :luhv:

Next 2 day event at same PNE Forum location, Vancouver, BC on Sat. Oct. 20 to Sunday Oct. 21, 2023. Worth crossing the Alberta or USA border to drive or fly :Rocket: in for now.

Good to know.  I'm within easy driving distance from south of the border and will definitely keep this in mind.  Thanks!

I may have to attend this show next year.

Chateau du greggy has some long boxes u may sleep on, buddy. Nice mix of fresh dealers so there were stacks of comics to dig thru Saturday morning as only about half the vendors/artist alley set up Friday evening.

@aardvark88 Knowing what you do about our stock at the Calgary Expo, would it be worthwhile for the four of us to set up at this show?

Yes but keep in mind there is a lot of competition for late bronze age, copper and modern comics. Main problem is the weather along the (closed due to snow?) Coquihalla Hwy b4 Halloween 2023 or around April 2, 2024. Hope Clobberin' Time does great $$ at Calgary Expo April 2023.

What about GA and SA? We would just have to break that out instead of sitting on it.

U should do OK with GA and SA. Dealers have remarked that instead of 1 booth at Fan Expo Vancouver (fev), one can get 3-4 x 8' dealer's tables at PNE show. U can also check out the Vancouver comic/toy market vibe and 'competition' at http://www.westcoastcomiccon.ca Sunday August 13, 2023, if your family is in town as summer/PNE tourists.

Not sure about SA, but you should probsbly do alright if it's half decent GA books at reasonable, as opposed to nosebleed auction like prices.  (thumbsu

Especially when the only GA books that ever shows up at the Vancouver Cons are usually low end condition copies of non-demand titles, save for the odd nugget that might appear whenever an out-of-town dealer like Ferd makes an appearance.  hm
