PGM : Star Wars : Beckett 2 2

Hi everyone! I’m relatively new to grading and CGC submissions and was hoping to gain some insight from this book. What I still have a hard time gauging is the manufacture damage on the corners. How would corners like this effect grade overall? What do you think an overall grade may be? Thanks and glad to be on the forum.

I think you’re right on this. Most of the spine looks normal but near that white spot in the top left corner you see more wear starting about an inch away. Thanks much for the input!

I tend to agree here. It looks like the bottom corner got bumped at some point along the way. That said, if you look at enough graded comics online, you can see a large range of grades for corners like this that don't look like manufacturing damage to my eye. I would expect CGC to have a heavier hand with a book this new though. Also with two corners, I think you wouldn't have much hope of anything higher than 9.2
