PGM - Hulk 140 2 2

Hey gang!

Thinking of resubmitting this.

I sent it in ages and ages ago without a cleaning or press. It scored a 9.2 w/ "off white to white pages" but I feel it's worthy of a higher grade.
To my semi novice eyes, it looks like a higher grade. 

Whaddya think? Crack and resend in for higher grade?

That corner is smashed pretty good. Spine ticks are color breaking. Cover is off-center. None of these defects are pressing candidates. CGC grader notes, if any, would be helpful to know if there's anything else. This looks like a 9.2 to me. Could re-grade lower.

You can get a CGC 9.4 for 275 dollars. How much money do you want to throw at this comic? Looks good to me at 9.2 how much higher are you thinking it could grade?

I was hoping for a 9.6. But, some feedback appears to lead me to think it might not be possible.

To crack and resend for a 9.4 feels like a waste of cash.

Too many little color-breaking ticks for anything higher than a 9.2, IMO. Good decision. It's a great looking NM copy of a cover-driven key.

The Answer is:  A press won't help with all those color breaking spine ticks.  Keep it as is.  You were lucky to get a 9.2.

I think you got a fair grade with this book. CGC is hypercritical when grading this book and you might risk it coming back a grade lower.
