marf
I wish this was a 10.0 Any advice on if I should clean and press would be much appreciated Edited May 26 by marf FoggyNelson and grendelbo
scburdet
1.0±0.5 With these worn books, I don't think pressing can improve the grade, maybe improve the appearance. Mars76
jcjames
1.5, C&P has higher risk of worsening damage to frail 60 year-old books like that. If I had to send it for C&P, I wouldn't send it to CGC CSS. @joeypost would be one for the best advice on this IMO. Great book to own though! Nilo2
If the cover is still attached (it looks like it is) and the book is complete, this should grade somewhere between a 2.0-3.0. with a really good cleaning and pressing.
FoggyNelson
1.8 but I’m jealous still👍‼️
LowGradeBronze
If everything is still attached I'd say 1.
grendelbo
1.5/1.8 I don't think a press will improve the grade, maybe just the presentability a little. But probably not worth it. Thanks for sharing.

Nilo2
If the cover is still attached and the book is complete, I don't see how this could grade lower than a 2.0 with a really good clean & press. I don't see any pieces out of the front or back covers and from the pics, the book looks like it is strong enough to go through a C&P just fine. I'd send it to an independent pro. Its a little more money but could be well worth the result. Just my 2 cents... marf
