Talked with CGC today about the Hugh Jackman SS and they said he hasn't signed ANY of our books. He's hard to get a hold of and they have been very diligent. They told me back in Oct that he signed my books in May but that was false. I was told by 3 people at CGC that he signed them but he hasn't signed any.  It's becoming really frustrating lol. Here's hoping he can get to signing! 🙏

I feel like people may be missing information that has already been shared in this thread and / or posted in CGC's site.  I too have been waiting patiently for this signing so I understand everyone's frustrations.  So, let me repost information that I hope will help ease everyone's frustrations / anxiety about this signing.

1)  First of all, CGC is not hosting this signing - Celebrity Authentics is.  CGC is just partnering with them to help get our books graded.  CGC, thus, is not in control of this signing.  Below is from the original announcement CGC posted on their site:

2) glowbug27 posted the following back on 11/08.  I marked out parts that are not pertinent to the signing.

When I spoke to the rep at Celebrity Authentics they explained that while the actor's strike is going on Hugh CANNOT sign which seems counterintuitive because he would have the free time. However, because most of the items he will be signing will be affiliated with his acting work as Wolverine, he is not permitted to sign as part of the strike. That stinks because when the strike is over the studios will be rushing to get everyone back to finish work on the movies they have been working on (including Deadpool 3) so Hugh will likely be tied up for months after the strike ends. I feel like 3Q 2024 is the earliest we will get our signed books back. 

3) atrocitus posted a screenshot back on 12/05 from Celebrity Authentics stating Hugh Jackman will be completing this signing in February 2024 after he wraps up filming Deadpool 3 in January 2024.  I tried to copy / paste the pic here but the site won't let me for some reason.

 

Just hang tight everyone.  Hopefully come March / April, we will all be posting pics of our Hugh Jackman signed books!  And the wait will be totally worth it!

Okay so I know this is our right impossible.  If the signing takes place late April early May, it will take over four weeks to grade the books, plus additional weeks to get the CA stickers.  IF it does happen, you're looking at late June, early July before any book come back from grading.

 

But we know that it's not to happen....in late April or May.
