I bought this in the year 2000, so I wasn't really aware of or looking for restoration.

I was going to send it in, but now I'm noticing what looks like bleed through on the front cover. Just want to get some other opinions.  Thank you!

Yes.  Multiple hits of black color touch (done with the intent of improving the book's appearance, as opposed to mindless doodling) = amateur restoration (and a purple label, for sure).  :cry:  Unfortunately, tinkering is not something that's limited to high-grade copies.  :foryou:

That looks like color touch to me so yes it would get a restored label.  From the pictures, the bottom left front outside cover looks more obvious (black area in middle of circular object near spine and bottom of the same object where the readers crease crosses the black outline).  I can't see the color touch on the outside front right cover but it does appear to follow Hulk's shoulder/neck area.  The sad part is that with all of the other creases there was nothing to gain.

Those are absolutely killer low grades...they look fantastic! er...Incredible!
