Ultimate Fallout 4 Sealed - Grading Question 1 1

Hello,

I have a 1st print of Ultimate Fallout #4 still sealed in the bag and was wondering how CGC handles this for grading. Do they remove it from the bag to grade it or grade it as it is in the bag? Does it get slabbed in the bag? Does the bag fold over? Is the bag noted in the notes at the top? I assume no, but if I wanted to is there a way to get a comic that is still sealed in the bag pressed? Goofy question I know, but figured I would ask.

Hello! This is a great question! CGC does not certify books that are sealed in a manufacturer's poly-bag. To have a poly-bagged book certified by CGC, you must either remove the book from its poly-bag or send written approval authorizing CGC to remove it. The words “Poly-bag removed” will appear in the key comments section on the CGC label.

The label will not specify if any loose item was in the poly-bag with the comic. When the comic graders remove items from a poly-bagged comic, the items are returned to the submitter in a separate mylar/bag and board.
