scburdet Posted February 16, 2023 Share Posted February 16, 2023 Looks like you might have had a bindery tear at the top of the spine that tore off, so there's a small spine split to go with the spine stress lines. Around a 5.0/5.5 once it's cleaned up & pressed. I'm not that familiar with this book, but I don't see any indication that it's a key comic. The best reasons to grade are significant books, or things that are much higher grade that what would be typical of the era Looks to me that you can go out and buy a higher grade copy for $20 or less. Yeah I figured as much but wasn't 100% sure. It's not even worth posting for sale. I don't know why I have it but was was stuck between some old Magnus Robot Fighter books that weren't worth grading and some Captain Stern Books. JollyComics Posted February 18, 2023 Share Posted February 18, 2023 Not many graded bronze/copper age war comic books are out there unless they are 9.8s Many war comic book fans prefer to pay $10 or less for each BA/CA book.
