juniperpt
Tonight's focus is on DC. First up is the bi-centenial issue that personally I am not fond of. Too much pink, reminds me of T-Mobile. It appears to have some foxing around the edges and could use a c/p. As always appreciate your time in evaluatiing the comic, your comments and your grades! Mars76
This book could use a good cleaning. 7.0 as is. juniperpt
scburdet
I'm not a foxing expert, but the spot around the CCA box looks like it could be a stain, not foxing. If CGC says it's staining, 5.5. If it's foxing, I'm still more like a 6.0 with a chance at 6.5 with c/p. White giveth & white taketh away. It looks to me like the white background is hiding some spine stress and other wear. juniperpt
LowGradeBronze
I'm going 5.5 (always wanted a copy myself. First Adams cover on Batman.) juniperpt

Upon closer inspection, the stain/foxing does not penetrate the paper to the opposite side. Rather is appears to "rest" on the surface of the paper. Thanks for pointing that out! JollyComics
Foxing doesn't penetrate the paper. The foxing is the answer. The structure is about 8.0/8.5. With small foxing on two areas, it's about 7.0. juniperpt
