Fresh comic slabs with weird white dots?!? 2 2

Hello smart people! Just got back two of my John Wick 1s (A and B variant) as 9.8s.

Awesome, I know. 

BUT... I noticed a lot of white dots on the back black cover. This doesn't seem normal. It's like someone took a sponge with white paint and blotted the cover. Hard to tell, but it looks like whatever compound used with encapsulation is on the book now. (but I could be totally wrong)

Is anyone familiar with this defect? Have you seen this before?  

Would hate for this to get sent back, reopened, and receive a lower grade.

It looks like it's on the slab, right? 

If so, I would contact CGC right away and have them reslab it. 

They should do that for free if you had a slabbed recently and there is some defect they caused.

Very generally, if you pay someone for a service and you’re not satisfied with the service, contact the company asap and see how they can make things right

It reminds me of the residue left over from cleaning something with Windex.

I got one too yesterday I notice some scuffing on the slab but when I take a closer look it looks like white powder spots.

I sent CS an email and just waiting on response.

Manufacturing defect of the inner well?

Looks like residue left over from when the inner well was either formed or sealed. Maybe some kind of release agent?

Ive never seen that before.

My last sub has a 3 inch long scratch INSIDE the case. 

First time ive ever seen that too.

And just when Ive gotten good at removing scratches on the outside of the case.

Interesting. So did this person who shall not be named say that the "milky spit spatters" are actually on THE COMIC? Or is it on the mylar? My biggest concern is that it actually touches the book and now the book is ruined. Appreciate the info!

Haha. I know you weren't trying to be cryptic. Just goofing around. But hearing that it's usually JUST on the mylar does make me feel a bit better though. I am sending back to CGC, so hopefully everything will be rectified and I can keep my 9.8 grades. But man oh man. Just craziness that this passes inspection in the first place. Truly appreciate the info. Thank you!

I suspect the book is ok. The book is bagged inside the case.
